Coaching

During the discussion process we will be offer assistance with your CV and throughout your interview with us will discuss in great detail your likes/dislikes about your current and previous employers. More importantly we will discuss with you what you want from your next opportunity in relation to the role, man-management, your peers, realistic salary and benefits expectations and your career aspirations.

Interview coaching

We provide you with key information for your interviews including background on companies, the hiring authorities and what they are really looking for during the interview.  On your behalf, we will submit your CV to the client along with a Personal Career Assessment and our Interview Summary; which encapsulates the discussions we have had with you.

Prior to your interview with the client we will conduct a ‘prep’ conversation with you to highlight the key issues the client has discussed with us when we took the detailed brief from them. We will ensure you are aware of any concerns they may have about you at this stage i.e. tenure at the right level, technical capability, experience in relevant field, location, salary expectations etc. 

We will also give you a summary of the interviewees who will be at your meeting wherever possible advising of their background and tenure with the organisation and the key things they’ll wish to understand about your skills. We will also get your Agenda for the meeting; whether you have been head-hunted or had applied for a job, it is still a 50/50 meeting they have to sell to you too and you need to ensure that they answer your questions to ensure you feel that this is the right move for you.

Relocation assistance

We realise that your perfect role might not be on your doorstep. If necessary, we will provide you with relocation advice to support you in making a smooth transition to your new location. We understand that this move needs to make your entire family happy. Invariably we will organise for your significant other to be part of the second interview process. They too would attend the location in order to view the area, assess the best place to live and more importantly decide if they want to move there; this cost is usually covered by the client. *We will also speak to your significant other discussing other people we may have moved to the area already and hopefully allaying any fears they may have in terms of the company your area considering a move too.  Sometimes they find it easier to ask us their direct questions as invariably they know this could be a very significant move for your career otherwise you wouldn’t consider moving your family.  We work with your whole family to ensure that the new role is a great move for everyone concerned.

Salary

Are you being paid what your worth? With a wealth of industry experience and knowledge, we know exactly what the market value is and will give you a fair and honest appraisal of what we think you can realistically expect and request.  However we will also challenge you if we believe you have slightly exaggerated your details. In a recent survey 48% of people admitted they had lied about their current salary and benefits on applications.  The only challenge with doing this is you can miss out on potentially a great new role because you have priced yourself out of the market place.  We want to build a relationship of trust and work with you in partnership and integrity.

Unlike conducting a job search alone, we can help to keep your CV confidential. We are very respectful of your privacy and we will not forward your CV information to anyone without first discussing the opportunity with you and gaining your agreement that your details should be forwarded to the company.
